History/About STM

The St. Thomas More Law Honor Society was established to consider ethical, moral, social, and political problems of interest to the legal profession, and to provide service to the law school community. During the academic year, the Society sponsors forums to explore current legal topics and conducts a tutoring program for first year students. The Society presents its Medallion Award to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of law. Prior recipients have included noted jurists and scholars. Membership in the Society is by invitation to second, third, and fourth year students who are in the top 15 percent of their class.
